Payment, refund eligibility, and appointment cancellation rules

This Refund and Cancellation Policy sets forth the conditions under which Users and Lawyers may cancel appointments and request refunds for services booked through the ZOR Platform.
It supplements the ZOR Terms and Conditions and is binding upon all parties using the Platform.
ZOR prioritizes payment security. It does not store any of the following sensitive data:
All such data is handled by the payment processor under strict compliance protocols (e.g., tokenization, SSL encryption).
Refunds may be requested under the following conditions:
Note: Payment gateway or banking charges may be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable.
The following conditions are strictly non-refundable:
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 (or any re-enactment or amendment thereof).
The decision of the arbitrator shall be final, binding, and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
ZOR may seek injunctive or interim relief from courts in urgent cases, including but not limited to unauthorized access, misuse of intellectual property, or breach of data protection.
Once approved:
If the Lawyer cancels or fails to show:
ZOR encourages Users to reschedule at the earliest to ensure availability.
In rare or unforeseen situations, ZOR may authorize refunds on humanitarian or force majeure grounds, including:
Supporting documents may be required to validate claims.
Where a Lawyer accesses User contact details (thus incurring a lead charge) and the User subsequently fails to attend:
ZOR reserves the right to update, revise, or replace this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any material changes will be:
Continued use of ZOR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
No warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, is given by ZOR Services in respect of the operation of the service.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan and the competent courts at Lahore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
